Madagascar, first quarter, 21st century
Soft, flexible fabric panel created with pressed, wild silkworm cocoons. Hand sewn and resist dyed with natural plant derivatives using a traditional Japanese technique. All elements used to create the fabric are sustainably farmed and sourced.
